The Day Light Savings (DST) has started in US which means we all lose an hour of sleep. Some Verizon iPhones fell back an hour instead of springing forward. The problem was first reported by Mashable and quite a few users also reported the same issue on Twitter:
“If you need to wake up at any specific time tomorrow, beware: It appears that Verizon iPhones fell back an hour at midnight tonight instead of springing forward”
The issue currently is not limited to Verizon iPhones phones only but some AT&T phones were affected by this glitch as well. If you are facing the same problem in your iPhone, all you need to do is to restart your iPhone device and get the clock back to normal. So if are depending on your iPhone alarm clock then be aware of the issue and how to fix the issue.
iPhone has net been foiled by this issue for the first time as back in January an ‘alarm glitch’ stopped many users of Apple iPhones from getting to work on time and a DST bug had also affected iPhone users last year.
