LG Revolution is an all-touch screen (4.3-inch WVGA) Android Smartphone made for Verizon’s LTE network. It mainly features 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus, front-facing camera for video calls, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, HDMI port and DLNA and Netflix App. The LG revolution happens to be the only handset with the Netflix app right now. Netflix will be pre-installed on the LG Revolution.
Though LG revolution has not yet made its way to the market, but some passionate quick-witted lads have managed to get a full damp of the LG Revolution’s s. Yes! One of the most anticipated applications for Android has just been ripped out of the LG Revolution’s system dump: Netflix , and can be installed on almost any device. You can use this leaked APK to manage your own queue and browse movies.
But there is a bad news, that you can’t stream anything right now by using Netflix. The Qualcomm and Netflix had partnered for the DRM/Security setup in LG revolution, and device requires specific hardware in the device’s chipset to stream. So the streaming will only work on the handsets that they intend to work on.
Nothing can be told yet about how long it will take before a way is find to get the app running on other devices, but the chances are there that it could possibly be blocked on Netflix’s end. So you may not be able to get this working on an unsupported handset.
