Comcast is known to be the largest broadband Internet Service Provider in US of A. Being one of the biggest in the market based on rates and speed, Comcast is taking it to the next level. They recently announced Extreme Packages which will bring the download speed upto 105 Mbps to consumers in selected market. The introductory price for now starts at $105 per month. On the quick note, a blu-ray quality High Definition movie would just take couple of minutes to download, which takes somewhat 2 hours to download on a normal consumer speed (6-10 Mbps).

Extreme 105 is made possible through the use of DOCSIS 3.0 technology. At a connection speed of up to 105 Mbps, Comcast customers can not only download and watch a hi-def movie in about 5 minutes, but also play online interactive games, send and receive email attachments, shop, and update social networking Web pages faster than ever before.
