As we speak the number of web users and net income has for sure gone up for Google. It all started when Larry Page and Sergey Brin met at Stanford University in their early 20s. 1995, when there were around 16 million internet users. 3 years later, with 8 employees; the company receives its first investment of around $100,000 from Sun Micro system. Eric Schmidt was the first CEO of the company in 2001, while Google had around 250 employees and a net income of $7 million dollars. And finally as of last year 3rd quarter, Google has reported a net income of around $7 billion with 31,000+ employees. Not to forget, the most common term which we do get to hear these days quite often, ‘Google it’.
