Not long ago, we reviewed Vault, one of the well defined apps available for Android devices. The only feature it was missing was hiding user apps from home screen and apps menu. Hide It Pro, disguised as an Andio Manager allows users to hide files including messages, pictures, music, videos and applications. The app is available for free in Google Play Store. Once downloaded and installed, a fully functional audio manager launches with controls to alarm, music, notification, ringer, system and more.
Press on the Audio Manager logo to launch the core app which will allow to encrypt files and define privacy on the device. Specify a password or a pin and the main screen would appear. From this very screen, all the controls are performed.
Hide It Pro has a clean user interface which allows user to categorize and sort files which are to be ‘hidden’. Users can batch-select files and folders. Built in gallery and media player are embedded with full zoom controls and effects which would help view files from the applications. 256 Bit AES encryption allows user to hide and secure important files and folders. Privacy control over apps installed on device is a great plus for Hide It Pro. Users need to have full root access in order to use this feature.
General, slideshow, and login settings can be launched by a quick tap on settings icon from the main screen. More supported apps from the developer can be accessed as well. The app is free but ad-supported. Overall neat and to-the-point privacy app, with great encryption and application control.
