Do you remember the first time you heard of Facebook? How about the last time? For most people, these are loaded memories — especially if they’re young. The social media site was only four years old when it launched in 2004, and it’s grown into an invaluable part of our daily lives. In many ways, it still is.
By the numbers, the current state of social networks, a colourful infographic (source: ignite) puts forward an in-depth analysis of social media platforms by gathering different analysis data. Ignite completed this, by analyzing 54 different social media networks and their user base. The results are interesting and the findings look at questions like the highest percentage of women. Further which one has the highest proportion of youngest people among all social platforms?
The layout starts off with logos/icons of different social platforms. Moving down, we explore different dynamics including social platforms with the highest percentage of women. lastly, we find the 5 networks which are rising and 5 which are on the decline. The usage of colors and graphs in this infographic was a good call given the topic. A lot of great findings are highlighted in a modular layout.
