We recently reviewed Chevron, by which users can lock / unlock their Windows Phone 7 device. Moving on, same developers have made available a custom ringtone manager for WP7 users.
According to developers, the custom ring tone manager has two key components to it, the desktop application and XAP application.
Desktop application, which requires .NET 4.0 Framework ; will be used to create custom XAP package with 5 custom ringtones to be selected from your computer. Secondly, the XAP application is to installed on your WP7 device, to successfully install custom ringtones.
Key Requirements include:
1. transcode into WMA format at 48KHz
2. Microsoft Application Deployment tool & Windows Phone 7 Developer SDK.
The source code of this new application has been released by developers for developers of Windows Phone 7.
